| Preschool
It is the purpose of the Preschool to offer a positive environment along with a wide range of activities that will promote optimum learning. The Preschool promotes positive growth in physical, social, intellectual, language, emotional, and spiritual development. Positive values, attitudes, and self-concept are stressed. Interactions with peers and adult teachers promote social development. Large and small motor skills as well as self-help skills are taught. In the 4-year-old class, kindergarten preparation is the main area of focus. Each child is viewed as an individual and is encouraged to grow and develop at his/her own rate. Children attend classes from 9:00am-12:00pm. An optional "lunch bunch" is offered two days a week from 12:00pm-1:00pm. The Preschool follows the Cabarrus County school calendar from September to May. All classes meet on the first floor of the educational building. For more information and fees, please EMAIL or call Margaret Pruette at 704-786-1062 between 8:30am and 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. |
